BraveMind

Coaching Mastery Circle

dare to deepen your practice

Deb asks:

Are you getting enough reflective time with people who really "get" what you do?

With whom do you celebrate your weirdly coach-ish achievements? "They did it all on their own! Woohoo!" ;->

Who challenges you? And who coaxes you down off the ledge when it gets weird?

As a life coach working in the Agile community, I am committed to fostering a supportive and challenging culture for senior Agile coaches. To this end, I do 1-on-1 coaching and mentoring, with leaders and coaches.

Now I'm adding something more collaborative and accessible, to the mix: group peer coaching.

I'm excited about the synergy and depth-of-practice we can create by reflecting together and coaching each other, in community!

I’ve taken the classic mastermind and wrapped it in a container that helps members connect, design personal experiments and get accountability. I call it the BraveMind format.

The BraveMind combines the laser-focus of a MasterMind with the richness of community building and peer conversation.

Each week, in the BraveSeat segment of the meeting, one participant brings a real "case" from their work, explains what they'd like to learn or improve, and gets our focused attention and feedback. We'll use the powerful “Case Clinic” facilitation format from the Presencing Institute, or do two shorter Agile-Intervisions.

This isn't your basic intro-to-coaching-skills circle - this one's going deep.

How often?

Each group decides: weekly? monthly? drop-in, or committed attendance?

An example:
a 4-month, 6-member online BraveMind group could look like this…

  • A Kickoff Meeting
to connect and design goals and agreements
  • 6 x BraveMind meetings, 90 or 120 minutes each,
so each member is in the BraveSeat at least once
  • A Final Milestone Meeting
to celebrate group progress and decide how to continue, with or without outside facilitation.

Customise it!

Make your group just what you want and need.

Choose your focus: professional coaching skills or applied (agile) coaching skills.

Bring your own like-minded tribe, or let me help you find them.

Then we'll start with a design session, to share our needs and shape outcomes. I'll help you design ways to help each other get what you need from your circle.

Here are some elements you might like to incorporate, always or as needed:

  • lean coffee
  • coaching dojo
  • ask for help/advice
  • unstructured conversation
  • slack channel
  • virtual retreat or party :-)

... and I can't wait to hear your ideas.

Benefits:

  • you’ll work on the BE-ing of coaching, as well as the do-ing
  • you’ll enjoy a safe and confidential space, where you can be vulnerable, appreciated, and encouraged
  • you’ll get feedback directly oriented to your stated needs and goals
  • you’ll reap ideas, resources and experiences of passionate peers
  • you’ll walk the talk of continuous pracitioner improvement - making a commitment to yourself for regular experimentation, reflection, and learning
  • you’ll enjoy the celebration, humor, curiosity and accountability this community always brings
  • and, perhaps best of all, you’ll build supportive relationships that can last a lifetime, putting an end to the “lone leader” experience

Pricing:

Hiring me for one-on-one coaching will run you between $140 and $340 an hour. There we'll do deeply customised, personal work that's exciting, challenging and transformative. When the time is right, it's an investment worth making.

Here, I'm more in the role of a faciliatator, though I'll surely offer input along with everyone else!

My offer: I'll start off your own BraveMind peer coaching circle, with up to six facilitated BraveMind sessions, plus initial kickoff and final milestone sessions.

For a circle of 6 people,
with 6 x 90-minute BraveMind sessions, you pay:

$600 CAD total + HST

Or, with 6 x 120-minute BraveMind sessions:

$900 CAD total + HST

that's just $65 CAD / hour per person + HST!

INAUGURAL PRICING:
for the first two BraveMind circles

that start in 2022, a reduced price of

$500 CAD for  90-minute sessions + HST

$750 CAD for 120-minute sessions + HST

That's just $55 CAD / hour per person + HST!

Once you collect the right people, it's an amazing offer!

Consider what it costs you to attend a conference. How much concrete, practical feedback do you get on your own current practice? How much of each day is spent with people who really listen to your context, and to what's bugging you, and offer you personalised feedback and advice?

BraveMind creates a tribe that's practical, affordable, and committed to your success.
